Create or edit a tariff

POST/v1/projects/{projectId}/tariffs

Creates a tariff: what drivers pay to charge, made up of any mix of an energy price, a charging-time price, an idle-time price and fixed fees, each with optional conditions such as time of day.

To edit an existing tariff, send its tariffId. Editing never changes a version in place: it creates a new version, and earlier versions are kept so past sessions can still be priced as they were. Leave tariffId out to create a new tariff with an id Flowion assigns.

Instead of energy, a tariff can carry a spot rule: for each quarter-hour the driver pays the day-ahead market price of the bidding zone times a multiplier, plus named per-kWh parts such as a markup, the grid transfer and the energy tax, plus tax. Omit spot.zone to use the zone of the location the charger is at. Sending both energy and spot is refused.

A tariff applies nowhere until you assign it. If any price has a time-of-day or day-of-week condition, the project needs a time zone first.

The tariff isn't valid: for example minCost or maxCost has neither a tax-exclusive nor a tax-inclusive amount, tariffId breaks its format, or a time condition could never match (a time that isn't HH:MM, an unknown day, or a start and end at the same minute). Also refused: both energy and spot (tariffEnergyAndSpot), a spot.zone whose prices are in another currency than the tariff's (spotCurrencyMismatch), and a spot rule with a multiplier of 0 or less, more than 8 parts, or two parts with one name. The message names the field.
