Send a command to a charger

POST/v1/charging-stations/{chargingStationId}/commands

Asks a charger to do something: reset, unlockConnector, changeAvailability, remoteStartTransaction, remoteStopTransaction, reserveNow, cancelReservation, updateFirmware or triggerMessage. Pick one with type; each has its own fields. Before you show a button, ask what the charger supports: a command the charger says it can't do is refused here up front.

The call returns at once with a command record, not the charger's answer. status is sent if the charger was connected, or queued if it's offline, in which case it's delivered when the charger reconnects, until expiresAt. Poll Get a command or watch for commandStatusChanged on live updates until status is accepted or rejected. accepted means the charger agreed to try: for a start, wait for the new session. A newer command of the same type for the same charger and EVSE replaces one that's still waiting (superseded).

The Idempotency-Key header is required. Sending the same request with the same key again returns the original command (200) instead of creating a second one, so a retry after a timeout is always safe. Any member of the charger's organization may call it. See Sending commands to a charger.
